Q1: Can you share with us one fun fact about yourself?
When I first joined the ACP family, my fellow colleagues had difficulty pronouncing my name. Overtime, my nickname became “ Ela”!
Q2: What do you do in your free time?
Spending my free time with family members is most enjoyable thing to me.
Q3: How long have you been with ACP and can you share with us more about your progression with ACP throughout the years?
I have been with the ACP family for 10 years now since I came in July 2010. I first joined as a system administrator whereby my role was to take care of client LMS projects to provide full support in terms of server, security, patching, maintenance. Over the years, I have taken on additional responsibilities and through hard work, I am now a Technical Manager.
Q4: What do you enjoy most about your role in ACP?
Here in the ACP family, I strive for the best for each project to make it successful.
Q5: How do you see the technological trend in the education field evolving in the next coming years?
When we talk about the educational technology (EdTech) from artificial intelligence (AI) to video based learning to wellness tech, the emerging EdTech trends have a lot in store for teachers and students. A recent poll by American University in 2018 reveals that 75% of educators believe that digital content will replace textbooks by the year 2026, and Virtual Reality (VR) is one extraordinary technology that teachers are deploying in the classroom. Mobile EdTech is another resource that is emerging in the field.
