Meet Rolando
Q1: Can you share with us one fun fact about yourself?
I love music and most if it are pop genre. To name of the few songs I love to listen are ‘Love Shack’ by B-52s, ‘One Last Time’ by Ariana Grande, ‘Rock with You’ by Michael Jackson and ‘Head over Heals’ by Go-gos.
Q2: What do you do in your free time?
If I have free time, I will most probably play online games. Usually, I am playing Mobile Legends and love playing as tank hero like Balmond.
Q3: How long have you been with ACP and can you share with us more about your progression with ACP throughout the years?
I have been working with ACP for more than 2 years. It’s a very fruitful experience and I learned a lot of different requirements in developing an application, and this enhanced my programming ability. We are continuously working on improving our eLearning solutions. I learned a lot, for example I learned how to build an educational software that I am not aware before and this adds to my learning experience on building an application.
Q4: What do you enjoy most about your role in ACP?
I enjoy most of the challenges that I met in my work as PHP Developer. There are certain tasks and requirements that are difficult to complete but I enjoy it because I know in the end it would become a good improvement and features to the software we are developing. We are making a great software and I am glad to be part of it.
Q5: How do you see the technological trend in the education field evolving in the next coming years?
Education technological trend is evolving in a rapid pace that makes annual predictions of trends seem outdated before they even published. The education system is also rapidly changing because of COVID-19’s pandemic which added more challenges to the current education system. Previously, students would go to school to acquire education. Now, students can be educated without going to school physically with the use of technology. Online education system are more demanding than it is one or two years ago.
